BACKGROUND
A graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, majoring in Biotechnology. The main project Focus was on the induction of ischemic stroke in pigs using a minimally invasive endovascular technique. Such a model has been the holy grail in the field because pigs are a highly desirable species for stroke modeling; however, due to the complex anatomy of cerebral vessels, induction of ischemia has been an elusive goal. The ultimate goal is to build on this success and use this ischemia model to test the therapeutic effectiveness of new neuroprotective drugs. Moreover, apart from scientific development, for 5 years she was responsible or the administrative coordination of multi-million, multi-center national and international projects implemented at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. Co-author of 15 publications, index h=9, and co-inventor of two patent applications that are currently pending.
