BACKGROUND

A doctor by profession, a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland, from the beginning of his career he became fascinated with the power of regenerative medicine. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida in stem cell therapy for brain repair and then completed a molecular imaging fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving the efficiency and precision of cell and drug delivery to the brain using small and large animal models. The ultimate goal is to transform its academic discoveries into products and services that help patients suffering from fatal neurological diseases, including stroke, brain tumors and ALS. He is the co-author of over 200 publications, index h=53, and co-inventor of one American patent and several patent applications that are currently pending. He is also co-owner of the IntraART start-up registered in the USA.
